Ölçme ve Değerlendirme

Her dönemde 3 yazılı sınav yapılmakta ve en az iki sözlü notu verilmektedir.

Yazılı sınavlarda okulumuz Ölçme-Değerlendirme birimiyle işbirliği yapılmaktadır.Bu sınavlar klâsik ve çoktan seçmeli şeklinde olmaktadır.

Sözlü değerlendirmede ise; bir dönem boyunca öğrencinin ödev,sınama (Quiz) notu, katılım ve ilgi kriterleri göz önünde bulundurularak yüzde oranlarına gore değerlendirilmektedir.

Değerlendirmede sadece ezbere dayalı bilgileri değil,öğrencilerin eleştirel ve yaratıcı düşünmelerini sağlayan, yorum ve analiz yapmalarına yönelik ,performanslarını değerlendiren ölçütler kullanılmasına da özen gösterilmektedir.Klâsik ölçme ve değerlendirmenin yanında alternatif ölçme ve değerlendirme yöntemleri , öğrencilerin kendi gelişimlerini belirleme ve bu sayede kendini geliştirme ve kendini değerlendirme konusunda duyarlılık kazanma olanağı verilmektedir. Bu şekilde hem öğretmen hem de öğrencinin değerlendirmeyi öğrenme aracı olarak kullanabilmesi mümkün olmaktadır.

Sınav sonucunda başarısı düşük öğrencilere yönelik eksik bilgilerini giderici etüt çalışmaları yapılmaktadır.

Evaluation

Each term at least three written exams are set and at least two oral exams are graded.

We work with the ‘Evaluation and Assessment’ department in producing the written exams. These exams are in traditional and multiple-choice formats.

Oral grades are assessed as a percentage, with reference to the student’s homework and quiz grades, and the participation and attentiveness criteria.

Assessments take care to evaluate, not only information gained through rote, but also the student’s critical and creative thinking, and interpretation and analysis skills which determine their performance. In addition to classical assessment and evaluation methods, students are also given the opportunity to determine their own progress and thereby improve themselves and develop sensitivity to self-evaluation. In this way, both students and teachers are able to use evaluation as a tool for learning.

Students whose success in exams is lower than average take part in study hall to correct deficiencies in their learning.
